Financing

Make a quality roof affordable today.

A new roof is one of the most consequential investments you make in your home. We work with several financing partners so you don't have to wait until the leak forces the timeline β€” and so you don't have to cut corners on materials or installation quality.

How financing works

Most of our customers pay for roofing projects out of pocket or via insurance claims. But for projects that don't qualify for an insurance claim and where the homeowner would rather not deplete savings, we offer financing through several established home-improvement lending partners.

Here's how it works in practice:

  1. We give you the estimate first. No talk of financing until you know what the project costs. We don't want financing terms to influence material selections.
  2. If you want financing, we walk through the options at your estimate. Typically you'll see a 0% promotional option (good for 12-18 months), a longer-term option (5-10 years) at a fixed rate, and sometimes a deferred-interest option.
  3. Applications are quick. Most are 5-10 minutes online or on the phone, with same-day approval for qualifying applicants.
  4. We get paid by the lender after the work is complete and you've signed off on the project.

Typical financing options

0% promotional periods

For qualifying homeowners with strong credit, we can often offer 0% APR for 12-18 months. If you can pay off the full balance within the promotional period, you avoid interest entirely. This is the most popular option for homeowners who have the cash but would rather not deplete savings all at once.

Fixed-rate, extended-term

For larger replacement projects, fixed-rate financing over 5, 7, or 10 years may be available. Monthly payments are predictable and the interest rate doesn't change with market conditions. Best for homeowners who want to spread the cost over a manageable timeline.

Deferred interest

Some of our lender partners offer deferred-interest plans where you pay no interest if the balance is paid in full within a promotional period (commonly 12-24 months). Note that if the balance is not paid off in time, interest accrues from the original purchase date. We walk you through the terms carefully so there are no surprises.

What you'll need to apply

  • Basic personal information (name, address, contact info)
  • Social security number for credit check
  • Employment / income information
  • Project total from your Mid Atlantic estimate

The credit pull is a soft inquiry for the initial pre-approval and a hard inquiry only if you proceed. We can't guarantee approval β€” that's between you and the lender β€” but the lenders we work with have generally fast turnaround and reasonable approval criteria for homeowners with credit scores above ~650.

What financing does not change about our work

We mention this because we've seen contractors use financing to mask high prices β€” "only $200/month!" with no clear total cost. We don't operate that way.

  • Your estimate is itemized and shows the total project cost up front, regardless of how you pay.
  • Material quality and installation standards are identical whether you pay cash, finance, or use insurance.
  • Our 3-year workmanship warranty applies the same way.
  • We don't get paid more or less based on which financing option you pick.

Insurance and financing together

If you have a partial insurance claim β€” meaning the carrier is covering part of the project but not all of it β€” we can finance the difference. Many homeowners do exactly this: insurance covers the storm-damage portion, financing covers the upgrade or out-of-scope portions, and the project moves forward without out-of-pocket cost.

Get a written estimate first

Financing only makes sense if the project itself makes sense. Start with a free, no-obligation written estimate β€” we'll lay out the project scope, the materials, the timeline, and the total cost. From there, we can walk through financing if you want it.
